Journal of the Women's Government

In summer 2006, European movement initiated the project "Electing the Women's government". Voters of the Blic magazine helped to choose 21 out of 161 candidates for the ministry positions in the "women's government". The purpose of the action was to present that in Serbia exist women with high expertise who can get involved in every aspect of political and social science of Serbia.

At the end of the summer 2006 Serbia got the first women government. On the September 1st, the OEBS ambassador in Serbia, H. E. Hans Ola Ustard, organized the cocktail party in the OEBS main office. The main attraction on this cocktail was women's government. This was their opportunity to met each other, and exchange their opinions related to the whole action.
WOMEN’S VIEW ON POLITICS:
Women’s Government on Convention

First meeting was held on September 26th 2006, where for the first time in the working atmosphere, the members of the women's government gathered. This was the opportunity for them to recapitulate the results of this project. They have emphasized the need to do the project for the future of women's government. The present female members considered the possibility of solving practical problems: naming the female ministers, operative and logistic questions related to the function of the women's government.

The following meeting of the woman's government was held on October 11th 2006. At this occasion they decided to contact the runner-ups for the female ministers election. Women's government decided to promote the women's potential of expertise as their main mission. In collaboration with the daily magazine "Blic" they arranged to have the column which will be called "From our point of view". They made a schedule of time and place when their future meetings will be held. The need to work on "Para diplomatic role" was pointed. Informal meeting of the women's government was held on October 14th 2006. They made a decision to have the runner ups join the woman's government as female co-ministers (Alternate ministers). They would have the same status as the other female ministers, which means, they would have the same participation in the work of the women's government.

Fourth meeting of the women's government was held on October 26, 2006. The female co-ministers were a part of this meeting. They established that the collaboration with the medias has to be increased.

I want to express my admiration and gratitude for your wish to see and hear the woman's point of view on the society that is special only because women are better carriers of the tradition, but carriers of modern and progressive ideas in the same time. The main goal of the woman's government is to point out, illuminate and show a part of the Serbian population whose standards are: competence, tolerance, stability, civilized communication and respect. Even though there are no ideals, we want to reach them. The way to do that is to work on ourselves, become conscious of ourselves and get to know our divine nature. No one is perfect enough; we should always aim to be more perfect. Self-consciousness, functioning with the full capacity it's what we aspire for. On the field of the tricky business (politics), we couldn't tame from its very beginning by now. As an expression for the impotence we acclaimed the paradoxical definition. "Politics is the possibility of the impossible and the impossibility of the possible". Women's point of view on the politics is completely different, and for them politics is "the art of managing our relationships". Unfortunately political disfigure has lead that politics nowadays is a complete mess in Serbia. Scientists, moralists, artists are becoming political servants. I am terrified with the fact that every year we need October 5th.

Eager triumph of education, knowledge, and raciness mindfullness a very politeness. They deserve to have all these years, decades, centuries.
