The state of gender equality in the EU The situation of
women is misbalanced:
EMPLOYMENT: salaries of women is 15% lower
than the average male
The unemployment rate for women is 15.2%

Economic, demographic and social challenges of
today determine the external appearance of Europe requesting
new perspectives in the roles of men and women as economic
actors, all segments of their role in society.

Member States should ensure Audiovisual
commercial communications and not to include discrimination
based on race, sex and nationality;
recommendations for the presentation of the
model training in media training institutions and solid
mechanisms that tend to balance between equality at all
levels of decision-making in the media industry;
in the context of the development policy of
the EU, women should have access to adequate financial
support for the EU, particularly through national projects
developed by women's organizations;
calls for the European Commission for
Humanitarian Aid, whose policy in the first plan put support
and financial support to women who were victims of crimes;
the belief that the promotion of action for
gender equality is of crucial importance for the success of
these policies;
Looking forward
In the European parliamentary report with
guidelines the Commission for Gender Equality held a hearing
by the Parliamentary Committee on the topic of women's rights
and gender equality.
