Environmental protection and sustainable development

EMinS-Nis was a partner resource center in the organization of paper "Legislation in the field of environmental protection" in the Program of protection of environment and sustainable development 2004-2006 in cooperation with the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities and the Association of Local and Regional Authorities of Norway.



In the framework of our cooperation partner role was to provide representatives of the legislative and professional sectors, as well as representative authorities (all the presidents of municipalities), experts in the field of environmental protection, representatives of educational institutions, media, etc. .. the entire region from the southern and south-eastern Serbia have shared their knowledge and experience with representatives of associations of local and regional authorities of Norway and made a number of proposals and programs that are important innovated of our legislation in the field of environmental protection. Set of four draft laws is presented that the government of Serbia sent in parliamentary procedure, with special emphasis on the place and role of local authorities in the legal solutions.



Good experience from this meeting is the formulation of common attitudes and intervention as well as a clear feeling of relevant regional development. 16.11.2004.
