During the period from March 12th to 15th 2009. National Association of
Practitioners of Youth Labour (Nacionalna Asocijacija Praktiara/ki Omladinskog
Rada) NAPOR was established, and it represents the initiative of civil
organizations for the constitution of a top national Association made of
individuals and civil organizations which are conducting youth labour on the
territory of Republic of Serbia.
The Association is supposed to represent a mechanism for creating
recommendations for more quality jobs, experience and information exchange, as
well to promote the cooperation between civil organizations and public service
organizations, which would, with the support of Ministry of Youth and Sport,
insure the youth work program's quality.
During their conference, NAPOR members adopted thereinafter indicated acts,
and obligated to respect those acts in their future practical work:
- Youth labour definition and typology
- Principles, values and recommendations for developing a policy of child
protection and youth protection in the youth labour
- Youth worker's ethical codex
The conference was organized by Youth Labour Center (Centar za omladinski
rad) with its partners. Our organization is one of the founders of the National
Association.
At the conference, our organization had been represented by Mila Vuji, The
President.
